Hamburg, May 31, 2024 - Becken, a specialist in project development, revitalization, asset and investment management for commercial and residential real estate, has achieved another leasing success for its Düsseldorf office project development "CURVE." The Japanese chemical company Mitsui Chemicals Europe GmbH is leasing around 1,400 square meters on the fourth floor of the six-story office building on Helmholtzstraße near Düsseldorf's main train station. The lease agreement was concluded for a long term and begins at the end of 2024. The globally active company is thus relocating its European headquarters in Düsseldorf from Oststraße in the Stadtmitte district to Friedrichstadt. JLL advised Mitsui Chemicals Europe GmbH and brokered the lease.

Olaf Drossert, Managing Director of Becken Estates GmbH, says: "With the latest letting success, we were able to increase the occupancy rate to 85% before completion. We are currently holding promising talks for the vacant 1,800 square meters of rental space and are confident that we will achieve full occupancy before completion." The CURVE is scheduled to be ready for occupancy in September 2024.

The "CURVE" has 200 underground parking spaces and a charging infrastructure for e-mobility. JSWD Architekten GmbH & Co. KG was commissioned.
