Becken leases Düsseldorf office project development CURVE on a long-term basis to Verbraucherzentrale Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V.
- Conclusion of the first rental agreement for an initial total rental area of around
6,900 square meters of office and storage space - Lease term 20 years Services GmbH and other rental partners to follow
Hamburg/Düsseldorf, the 29.11.2021 Becken, a specialist in the development, realization, long-term asset and investment management of commercial and residential real estate, has signed a 20-year lease agreement with Verbraucherzentrale Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V. for the CURVE office project development. Verbraucherzentrale has leased around 6,900 square meters of the CURVE office ensemble at Helmholtzstrasse 19, which has a total rental area of around 10,800 square meters. A future-proof office workspace concept is being jointly developed for the consumer advice center, which is considering renting additional office space in the process. The move into the new office space is expected to take place in the 1st quarter of 2024. New construction work has already begun with the construction of the excavation pit.
Olaf Drossert, Managing Director of Becken Estates GmbH, says: "We have succeeded in letting around 65% of the office property in a prominent city center location near Düsseldorf's main railway station before construction has even begun. With the Consumer Association of North Rhine-Westphalia as a public sector user, we have gained a very reliable partner for a long period of time."
