Hamburg, December 03, 2020. The owner-managed Hamburg real estate and investment company Becken has acquired the office building "Bei den Mühren 1" as the launch property for its open-ended special AIF "Solid Office Fund I" (SOF I). The property is in a prominent inner-city location in Hamburg's Speicherstadt warehouse district and has around 2,900 square meters of rental space. The building is fully let and can be used as both a single and multi-tenant property.

The location of an office property is still decisive for its value stability. Such properties are in robust shape even in difficult economic times. With its high visibility in Hamburg's Speicherstadt warehouse district, this office property, which dominates the cityscape, is an ideal starting property for our existing real estate fund." Jens Hogekamp, Managing Director of Becken Asset Management GmbH, adds: "In addition to our existing focus on value-add properties, we will increasingly focus on solid core properties in line with the investment criteria of our new portfolio fund in the future."

The "Solid Office Fund I" invests in core office properties in prime locations in major German cities and their growth regions. The office properties have a rental area of up to 5,000 square meters.
