Hamburg, January 23, 2019: The real estate company Becken, a specialist in the development, realization and long-term asset and investment management of commercial and residential properties, is creating the position of Managing Director for Finance for the first time and appointing Hauke Rahner (39) as CFO of Becken Holding GmbH. At the same time, the project developer, which operates throughout Germany, establishes the new Becken Estates GmbH division and appoints Olaf Drossert (40) as its Managing Director. Drossert was most recently Managing Director of Becken Asset Management GmbH. Alongside Jens Hogekamp, Prof. Dr. Michael Becken, Managing Director of Becken Invest GmbH, will now also take over the management of Becken Asset Management GmbH. Becken Estates is dedicated in particular to the areas of office letting and residential sales. For the first time, the sales and acquisition services can also be utilized by clients outside the group of companies.

He has been working for the Becken Group since 2012, most recently alongside Jens Hogekamp as Managing Director of Becken Asset Management.

Hauke Rahner has 17 years of expertise in the acquisition, analysis and structuring of high-end commercial real estate financing. After completing his training as a banker at Landesbank Kiel, Rahner studied business administration at the Christian-Albrechts University in Kiel, graduating with a degree in business administration, as well as real estate economics at the International Real Estate Business School (IREBS) at the University of Regensburg. Rahner then took on various functions in risk management and sales in the real estate client division of HSH Nordbank AG. In 2015, he moved to Commerzbank AG, where he served as deputy location manager of the Hamburg Competence Center for Corporate Real Estate Clients. Since 2017, Rahner has been responsible for the financing division at Becken and was previously an authorized signatory for the group of companies.

Olaf Drossert, Managing Director of Becken Estates, says: "The newly established Becken Estates division covers the areas of 'Office Letting' and 'Residential Sales'. In addition, Becken Estates will manage the Innovation Management division, which analyzes the influencing factors and trends in the office and residential real estate market in order to develop innovative and sustainable properties tailored to the end user." In the office letting sector, letting services are provided for Becken Development, Becken Asset Management and the Becken family's private portfolio. In addition, third parties can also make use of letting services. The residential segment includes the sale and letting of condominiums, depending on demand and project planning within the Group.
