Hamburg, July 10, 2017 - Hamburg-based project developer Becken has identified a new corporate location in Wiesbaden together with a major German insurance company and purchased a plot of around 13,600 square meters without broker involvement. The site at Abraham-Lincoln-Park 5 will be individually designed as a multi-tenant office building in line with the requirements of innovative working environments and fully let to the insurance group.

Stefan Spilker, Managing Director of Becken Holding GmbH, says: "In cooperation with the Wiesbaden Department of Economics, we have succeeded in keeping the insurance company's headquarters in the Hessian state capital. With a project volume of around 75 million euros, we are developing a modern and forward-looking office building for Wiesbaden. The basic shape of the property was designed to meet the tenant's requirements for a creative working environment."

The structure is in the shape of an H, which opens up as a striking entrance for the development. The planned building comprises six floors and a staggered storey and has a gross floor area of around 17,000 square meters. DGNB Gold certification is being sought for the property. Construction is scheduled to begin this year.
