Revitalized existing Becken building becomes INDUSTRIA's new headquarters

  • Rental of around 4,400 square meters of office space in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen

Hamburg / Frankfurt, August 10, 2023 - INDUSTRIA, the investment manager specializing in residential real estate, is relocating within Frankfurt to a revitalized existing building owned by the Becken Group. The recently concluded lease agreement is a green lease with a term of ten years. The move is expected to take place in the first half of 2024. INDUSTRIA will give up its current location in Bockenheim in the IBC at Theodor-Heuss-Allee 74. The rented space comprises 4,365 square meters. These are spread across two properties that are part of an ensemble revitalized by Becken in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen. The INDUSTRIA space is located in a listed old building built around 1900 and in an existing property - known as Haus 15 - dating from 1980. Becken has thus achieved full occupancy of the office ensemble, which also includes a third property that has already been leased to the City of Frankfurt. This lease - also a green lease - was concluded for five years.

The façade of the listed old building and the windows were renovated in line with the historical model. The energy-efficient renovation of the façade of House 15 will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023, as will the commissioning of the photovoltaic system on House 15. The protected rear park with its historic fountain and pavilion will be prepared for the next growing season and will offer the new users a high quality of stay in the outdoor area of the office ensemble. A parking area with e-charging stations has been created in the inner courtyard for electric cars and bicycles.
