The realization of highly complex construction projects is Marc Holzhausen's area of responsibility. The trained carpenter studied civil engineering in Hamburg and began his career at Drees & Sommer in Hamburg. He then joined the Garbe Group, where he was responsible for various major projects in the commercial, entertainment and retail real estate sectors, including the multiplex cinemas of the UCI Group and the Stilwerk Hamburg.

In 2000, Marc Holzhausen joined the Becken Group, where he expanded the business areas of tenant concepts, planning, project management and claim management. Following the merger of the construction management and project development divisions, Marc Holzhausen is responsible for the technical management of Becken Development. Marc Holzhausen has been a member of the management board of Becken Development GmbH since April 2018.
