The owner-managed Hamburg real estate and investment company Becken has acquired an approximately 20,000 square meter site with an office building in Hamburg's "City Nord" office location from the gas and oil company Wintershall Dea. The office property is located at Überseering 40 and has around 28,600 square meters of office space on nine floors as well as around 550 parking spaces in the two basement levels. The seller has concluded a rental agreement for the continued use of the space until the move to a new office building. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

The office building was built in 1977 and is part of the City Nord ensemble of listed buildings.
