Hamburg, 31 August 2018: The German project developer Becken has contractually secured the sale of its Düsseldorf project development "Infinity Office" to DIC Asset AG as part of a forward deal. Until autumn 2019, Becken is realising a representative multi-tenant office property on the renowned Kennedydamm with a project volume of 153 million euros.
The rental space of the "Infinity Office", including the 265 underground parking spaces, is around 20,500 square meters. With a share of around 70 percent, Bankhaus Lampe will in future be the anchor tenant of the office property. SUMITOMO DEUTSCHLAND GmbH has leased a further 15 percent of the space. This means that the property is already 85 percent pre-let.
The special features of this office building with its high-quality equipment include the sophisticatedly designed facing facade, the roof terrace of around 500 square metres and the shape of the building as a horizontal figure eight. The two inner courtyards created by this will provide office users with green oases of peace in the middle of the city. The transaction was accompanied by Savills Immobilien Beratungs-GmbH. Wiegel Ihde Ekrutt + Partner mbB, Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater Wirtschaftsprüfer, acted as legal and tax consultant.
Dominik Tenhumberg, Managing Director of Becken Development GmbH, says: "The fact that we will be brokering our first project development in Düsseldorf to a well-known German investor so early on confirms the quality and value that are top priority in all our projects".
