Hamburg, August 31, 2018 - German project developer Becken has contractually secured the sale of its Düsseldorf project development "Infinity Office" to DIC Asset AG as part of a forward deal. Becken will realize a prestigious multi-tenant office property on the renowned Kennedydamm with a project volume of EUR 153 million by autumn 2019.
The rental space of the "Infinity Office", including the 265 underground parking spaces, is around 20,500 square meters. With a share of around 70 percent, Bankhaus Lampe will be the anchor tenant of the office property in future. SUMITOMO DEUTSCHLAND GmbH has rented a further 15 percent of the space. This means that 85 percent of the property has already been pre-let.
The special features of the high-quality office property include the sophisticated design of the façade, the roof terrace measuring around 500 square meters and the shape of the building as a horizontal figure of eight. The two inner courtyards thus created provide office users with green oases of peace in the middle of the city. The transaction was accompanied by Savills Immobilien Beratungs-GmbH. Wiegel Ihde Ekrutt + Partner mbB, Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater Wirtschaftsprüfer acted as legal and tax advisors.
Dominik Tenhumberg, Managing Director of Becken Development GmbH, says: "The fact that we have already brokered our first project development in Düsseldorf to a well-known German investor at such an early stage confirms the quality and value that are paramount in all our projects."
